I am getting very excited! We have set a schedule to get the ball rolling. I will be ordering my medicine today. I am already taking folgaurd, baby asprin, prenatals, and currently on birth control.
I will stop the BCP and have my baseline blood work and ultrasound on April 2nd! One week from today!! The stimulation shots will start on April 6th with a tenative egg retrieval scheduled for April 18th!! The medicine I will start with is: Menopur and Gonal F. I will start Cetrotide about 6 days in, then will have Ovidrel as my trigger shot!! More to come.... Tomorrow is the big day! My teaching visit, and find out the schedule that I wil have. I am getting very excited. I think I have a whole page of questions, but I am sure more will come up through the cycle.
On another note, not sure how baby showers are for everyone but I do not like them! I think it comes from the fact that Chloe's was scheduled for the weekend before I lost her, so all the plans had to be cancelled. I really do not like to attend them, and it hurts my friends and family's feelings. They should understand mine though. My sister in law is about to have her 3rd child, and my mother in law wants to have a babyshower for her this week. My MIL gets mad if I don't go, but she doesn't understand how much they both me!! I think/hope once I do get pregnant this will change. Hello All,
BCP have been started! yay!! I have my teaching visit scheduled for March 25th, then the process will get started. I am so excited and actually being very patient right now. I watch youtube videos and read blogs though, and i am not sure how that patientence will be in a few weeks. We did find out that we will be doing a frozen embyro transfer, due to having PGD done on the embryos. PGD is a biopsy to test the chomosomes of the little embryos!! This will just extend the process some, since we are not doing a fresh transfer. I feel like all this research has really made me educated on the IVF process. I knew nothing about it w |
